1. Introduction

Seismic Pixels, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Kizani project management and business operations platform (the "Service"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Service.

By using our Service, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and we will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including but not limited to:

  • Account information (name, email address, password, company name)
  • Billing and payment information (credit card details, billing address)
  • Profile information (profile picture, contact details, preferences)
  • Content you create or upload (projects, tasks, documents, invoices, time logs)
  • Communications with us (support requests, feedback, inquiries)

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use our Service, we automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent on the Service)
  • Device information (IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers)
  • Log data (access times, error logs, performance data)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party services, such as:

  • Payment processors (for billing and payment information)
  • Authentication providers (if you use single sign-on)
  • Integration partners (QuickBooks, Google Calendar, etc.)

2.4 Platform records and your workspace

Kizani uses central platform systems to operate your account and a separate, isolated workspace for the business data you enter in the Service. Account and subscription contact details—such as your name, email address, and company or business name—are kept in platform records so we can manage your subscription, provide support, send service-related communications, and run the Service securely. Projects, clients, invoices, time logs, files, and similar content you create are stored in your workspace. We do not sell your workspace content or use it for third-party advertising.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our Service
  • To process transactions and send related information
  • To email you about the Service, including account and billing notices, security alerts, important policy or operational changes, and product updates (such as new or improved features relevant to Kizani). These messages are about our Service, not third-party offers. You may ask us to stop non-essential product announcements at any time using the contact details below; we will still send email that is necessary for your account, billing, security, or legal compliance.
  • To respond to your comments, questions, and requests
  • To monitor and analyze usage patterns and trends
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
  • To personalize your experience and provide customized content
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as:

  • Payment processing
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure
  • Email delivery services
  • Analytics and monitoring tools
  • Customer support platforms

These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it for the purposes we specify.

4.2 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., court orders, subpoenas).

4.4 With Your Consent

We may share your information with your explicit consent or at your direction.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Regular security assessments and audits
  • Access controls and authentication mechanisms
  • Secure data centers and infrastructure
  • Employee training on data protection

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed for the Service, legal obligations, and legitimate business purposes. Retention periods vary by data type:

  • Platform account and billing records (subscription and payment records, and account contact information we hold on platform systems) — retained while your account is active and afterward only as long as needed for tax, accounting, legal compliance, and related business purposes (which may be several years where the law requires).
  • Your workspace data (client records, projects, time logs, invoices you create, uploaded files) — retained while your account is active. When you close your account, this data remains available for export during a 30-day grace period, then is permanently deleted from your workspace. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups and exports of business records you need for tax, audit, or legal purposes; the Service is not your long-term archive.
  • Operational email logs (delivery metadata such as send time and status) — typically 90 days, then deleted.
  • Project activity logs (non-financial product usage history) — typically 180 days, then deleted.
  • Email suppression lists (addresses that hard-bounced or marked mail as spam) — retained until the address is removed or corrected, to protect deliverability.

When you close your account, we delete your workspace database and uploaded files after the grace period. We may keep limited platform account information (such as contact details and billing history) only as long as needed for the purposes described above—not as a copy of your operational business data.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Access: Request access to your personal information
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information
  • Portability: Request transfer of your data to another service
  • Objection: Object to certain processing activities
  • Restriction: Request restriction of processing

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

Specifically, when you use our Service, information collected by Google Analytics may be transferred to and stored on Google's servers in the United States or other countries. Google complies with applicable data protection laws and has implemented appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
